Chris Casanelia

Director EvokeHR

Chris has over 25 years’ extensive HR experience having been based and working for several local  global entities in Europe, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand prior to founding EvokeHR.  Having led a number of  HR Technology transformative initiatives spanning HR Shared Services, Integrations, Payroll, LMS, Recruitment, Compensation and Case Management, Chris enjoys sharing his experience as a speaker at numerous events. Considered a thought leader in the HR Tech space he shares his knowledge through mentoring individuals and is sought out by vendors new to the market or developing new functionality. 

Chris has a genuine passion for HR and Tech and considers himself a pragmatist, working alongside customers to solve their issues, factoring in environmental, cultural, financial and or time pressures. He is constantly reading and researching global trends in technology, always on the lookout for the next disrupting Tech, and is constantly surprised and delighted at the sheer pace of change in our industry. 

Based in Matakana, Chris takes full advantage of his location and you will often find him out on the surf or, when not in his office, working from one of the various beachside locations.

Kate Wright

HR Technology Consultant

Kate has over 15 years’ HR experience across a number of specialist areas with her experience gained in both operational HR roles, and as a consultant supporting clients through implementations. Kate’s HR experience includes reviewing HR operations and the alignment of supporting systems, to working with clients to implement new technology solutions supporting process delivery and management.  These solutions covered the areas of Remuneration, Performance Management, Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development, Core HR, Health Safety and Wellness

Kate enjoys working closely with clients on all aspects of their people systems, with a particular focus on the key areas that result in real value for the organisation.  Kate’s methodical and considered approach when working with clients ensures the right solutions are identified and her project and change management skills support a robust implementation.

Being based in Christchurch Kate enjoys the lifestyle it offers, getting into the great outdoors, making the most of the great network of tracks in the Port Hills and the rebuilt central city.

Anuj Dubey

HR Technology Consultant

Anuj is an experienced Workday Technology Consultant specialising in HR Services, with a solid background in IT consulting spanning 8 years. Over the last 4 years, he has honed his expertise in implementing Workday Integrations, contributing significantly to numerous successful Workday HCM Integrations projects. 

With a wealth of experience in handling over 6 workday implementation projects across Large and Medium (Launch/Phase X) solutions, Anuj has taken on various roles such as Integration Lead and Consultant. His is hands-on experience includes working with a range of Workday Integration tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Document Transformation, APIs. Anuj is also a certified Workday Core Integrations Consultant

Passionate about working on Human Capital Management Projects using ERP Software like PeopleSoft and Workday, Anuj actively engages with business end-users and global vendors to gather requirements, develop Proof of Concepts, and secure approvals. He brings valuable experience in design, configuration, build, and test phases of implementation projects, as well as conducting gap analysis with multi-regional/global teams. Anuj is well-versed in SDLC project life cycles and adept at employing various methodologies utilised in PeopleSoft, Workday.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Anuj is a sociable individual who takes pleasure in sports, particularly cricket and badminton. When not immersed in work, he loves to keep himself fit by going for runs.

Becky Johnston

Recruitment and Sourcing Lead

Becky has 10 years experience in end-to-end Recruitment, Candidate Sourcing and Account Management across multiple sectors such as Healthcare, Logistics, Finance and Technology. Becky’s strengths are not only sourcing in general overall, but also for those unique niche roles that require a real in depth knowledge of the market and an established candidate pool.  

Key to her success is her strong relationship management and being passionate about making genuine connections with both clients and candidates.  Becky thrives on a challenge and learning all about the HR Tech industry and the vast amount of roles it covers and has gained real traction in this space.   

When not working, you’ll find Becky riding one of her horses on the beach, fulfilling her other passion which is teaching or spending time with her growing family.
